Choice & Control

At GSC, the participant’s choice and control is always the driving force in making decisions and selecting providers. The SC can help each Participant exercise that right by providing them with multiple options to choose from.

  • The SC can also assist the participant in setting up their NDIS “My Place” account on the My Gov website. Amongst many other perks, the My Place account allows the Participant to take more control of their plan and see how it is being utilised.

  • The SC also spends the time reviewing the participants funding and calculates how many hours of support their plan can provided them according to the NDIS Price Guide. This is to assist the participant in being better informed when making decisions around utilising their plan and if their choices are sustainable throughout the duration of their NDIS plan.
