Budget tracking
Budget tracking is where the next level of expertise really shows at GSC.
NDIS plans are all broken down and allocated into funding categories and GSC knows that the participant may have many financial decision making questions. This budget tracking service is designed to maximise plan utilisation and to avoid under and overspend which can result in the loss of support.
The SC will create a running funding allocation document which tracks all the Participants service booking amounts with their chosen providers. By using this document throughout the duration of the plan it can provide answers to many questions such as:
Can I afford to sign up to a provider?
If I sign up with a new provider will it affect my current providers?
Can I spend more time with my support worker?
How far can I go with my transport?
Do I need to cancel one support to sign up with another?
How much funding do I have left? have I utilised all of it?
Is my current schedule of supports sustainable until my plan is up for review?
What is the NDIS line item (NDIS set price) for the support I want to sign up for?
Did my provider end up using all the funding that they originally agreed to, or is there some left over?
